Ensure anyone adding a food item to the potluck fills out a dietary restriction and allergy food card.
Give each food item a serving tool (including duplicate food items).
Open all containers (including duplicate food items), ensuring all food is able to be served immediately.
Portion larger items when they arrive (e.g. slice up bread, cut the cake).
The stove & oven are not available for use before or during Potluck.
Important: don’t rearrange appliances in the kitchen, and do not plug in any new appliances in the kitchen. Our kitchen’s power grid is very fragile, and gets overloaded if appliances are moved, or additional appliances are plugged in.
Dishwasher Loader
Use the scrub-brush to remove any food particles from all cups, dishes, trays, and silverware.
Remove all drink markers, and separate any drink markers that are stuck together.
Add items to the dishwasher until it’s full, then start it.
Use the scrub-brush to remove any food particles from the remaining items, and neatly stack them in one side of the sink.
